Frontline, disasters and the living world (ranks, qualifications)

FRONTLINE — the CASEVAC chain

An active line (FRONT_LINE_) generates casualties (~every 20 min). 40 % of them become a CASEVAC mission for you (8 min window, then an ambulance convoy takes over). An overfilled field hospital → transfer of patients to the rear (bonus for carrying them to BH/TC: +30/patient). Watch out for ambushes on ambulance convoys (~10 %).

DISASTERS (disaster events)

Occasionally (only with players online) a major disaster strikes — several tasks at once with a time window. Announced in chat. - Mass casualty = a wave of 3–5 missions in an area (30 min window). - Refugee convoy = evacuate the wounded from a moving convoy heading to safety. - Storm window (~25 min) = harsher conditions, but a fund bonus for every rescue done during the storm. - During a disaster the active SAR mission cap temporarily rises — cooperate, more helicopters handle it more easily.

MORE LIVING WORLD (briefly)

  • Hospital crises: generator failure (solve with a FUEL mission) / epidemic (more medicine consumption). Bonus for resolving.
  • SIGINT: occasionally enemy positions are intercepted (imprecise, ~30 min) — help for you and the Guardian.
  • Hub + gateways: goods arrive by air/sea at real airfields/ports; the hub distributes to depots. You fly HUB_RUN missions from the hub.
  • Regional stability: your successes/failures move stability (milestones unlock hospitals/content). Story arcs = mini-campaigns.
  • 🎖️ RANKS: based on total score, which survives restarts — Lieutenant ~5 missions, Captain ~26, General ~260. Progress in [ME] MY PROFILE → Rank (it also shows the points remaining).
  • 🎖️ QUALIFICATIONS: three badges with a permanent passive bonus (survive restarts): NIGHT OPS (25 patients delivered at night → −25 % fatigue at night), HOIST MASTER (25 patients by hoist → −5 s off the hoist base), MOUNTAIN (15 patients from above 1200 m → −50 % weather hover surcharge). Progress: !qual or F10 → [M] Achievements → [Q] Qualifications.
