📌 Competitions, prizes and leaderboards — how it works

Competitions and special events

The server has its own competition calendar. The admin announces events, the server computes results from flights with a tracker track and hands out prizes once the admin has checked them. The Events tab shows what is running, what starts soon and where you stand.

Kinds of events

  • Performance — the most revenue, hours, tonnes, passengers or different airports over a weekend, a week or a month; in a region or to one airport.
  • Skill — the softest landing out of several attempts, the most accurate fuel, a race on route A → B, the best average flight score.
  • Community — a fly-in to an airport within a time window, a server-wide shared goal in tonnes, alliance against alliance.
  • Special jobs — a VIP charter or parts for an expedition with a limited number of places: first come, first served — a pay multiplier and a title.

Prizes and fair play

The winner gets money, an aircraft (new or nearly new, at the home airport; it cannot be sold for thirty days), a badge or title shown in the leaderboards, a voucher for fuel or maintenance, or a reputation bonus. The server prepares the ranking and the prizes itself, but pays out only after the admin approves.

Only flights with a tracker track count; voided flights do not. The admin sees a result with a flight under review or with an anti-cheat finding flagged. On a tie, whoever reached the result first wins.

Statistics and leaderboards: pilots by hours, flights, best landing and average score, alliances by the sum of their members, the busiest airports and routes — for a week, a month, a quarter and all time. Plus your own numbers with a twelve-week trend. Pilot passport: a map of the airports, countries and continents from your own flights, with badges for 10, 50 and 200 airports, new countries, continents and landings on grass, on water or high in the mountains.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards. Pilots, alliances, airports and routes for a week, a month, a quarter and all time. My row stays visible even when I am far behind.
