Welcome to the RenderFarm Studio section (RF Studio for short) – a Windows desktop tool for X-Plane 12 scenery work: terrain mesh edits right inside the DSF, an overlay 3D editor that draws like X-Plane, a scenery_packs.ini manager with preview and backup, and ICAO airport checks.

A few rules

  • Please do not redistribute the beta – do not pass on the installer or the program folder (license agreement, section 4). Send anyone interested in testing to RFstudio@simulators.cz.
  • With a bug, always give the version and build (Help F1 › About) and, if it is about how the scenery looks in X-Plane, add an X-Plane screenshot and the GPS position.
  • Do not post bug reports with logs (the zip from Help › Report a bug) in the forum – e-mail them to RFstudio@simulators.cz; the forum is public.
  • Do not share edited copies of the Laminar default scenery or other people's packs – share a .rfpatch patch instead.
  • Write in Czech or English, whichever you prefer.

The license in short

RF Studio is closed-source freeware for non-commercial use (EULA 1.2 of 22 October 2026). You may distribute scenery made with it for free; selling it or other commercial use only with prior written consent. Details in the License (EULA) thread.
