The start page has a new Request an account form — fill in a nickname, your e-mail, a company name and, optionally, a home airport. The I want to play button takes you there.
You get a confirmation e-mail straight away with a link to your request's status. Once the admin approves it (usually within a day or two), another e-mail brings a link where you set your password — and you are in, with your company already founded.
If the request is not approved, the e-mail tells you why.
No need to post in the forum to get an account. The thread in Registration & access is now a guide and the place for problems.
Policies
The privacy policy now covers the account request (the details are deleted once handled, at the latest after 30 days), sending e-mails, and backups: daily ones are kept for 7 days, Sunday ones for 12 weeks.
