The tracker sign-in is stored encrypted on your computer (with your Windows account). If you share the tracker data folder with someone, the sign-in cannot be misused. You don't need to sign in again after the update.
Tracker updates are signed: the tracker installs only a version that really comes from us.
X-Plane: the tracker accepts data only from the computer X-Plane runs on — nobody else on the network can feed it a fake position.
If you change your password mid-flight and sign in to the tracker again, the flight continues without a restart.
