The installer and the program are not digitally signed – Windows SmartScreen warns on the first start (steps in Installation steps).

Some features are verified only by file and mesh checks, not in X-Plane – the Not verified boxes in the manual.
The soft orthophoto edge works only in variant A (overlay); in variant B the photo ends sharply.
Large areas belong in a scenery generator (one DEM insert operation at most 100 km², recommended up to 40 km²) – see Performance and recommendations.
Skip roads (a mask in Insert DEM): loading the road network takes tens of seconds for large DSFs.
DSFTool is optional – it serves only as an independent check of written DSFs.
Features for the RenderFarm generator (Configs, Rasters, run cockpit) are hidden without its folder – you do not need them for normal testing. The Map stays: without RenderFarm it shows the reality in DSFs from X-Plane and Custom Scenery, the hillshade from the DSF, orthophotos and the OSM base map; inputs, terrain and vegetation prediction and “Why here” need a RenderFarm run.
The base map needs the internet and does not use a proxy server; without it only tiles from the cache are shown.
