A roundup of the last few weeks (builds 86–92). There's nothing you need to do — it's all live.
Economy and money
Disasters and strikes now hit in proportion. Airports inside an event area used to drop to the lowest supply no matter how strong the event was. Now a mild event adds roughly 14 % to the pay of jobs from nearby airports and a severe one roughly 32 %, and the job board there grows a little. Once the event is over, airports recover within a few days.
Used aircraft that are out of production are priced normally again. A bug made them cheaper and cheaper even though nobody was buying. Prices are now recovering gradually, about 1 % a day — so the market value of your fleet will climb back over the next few weeks.
The first month is charged pro rata. A new pilot's salary, a new aircraft's insurance premium and the running cost of a newly completed facility are now charged only for the days they actually ran in the month they started — not for the whole month. September overpayments have been refunded to companies; you'll find them in your books as a correction entry.
Website and maps
The game loads faster. Your browser now keeps files that haven't changed, and the English dictionary is only downloaded when you play in English.
Maps run on a new version of the map library (a security fix). They look and work the same — world map, dispatch, 3D airport and pilot passport.
The English finance ledger is now fully translated, including salaries, goods purchases and corrections, and shows goods by name instead of codes.
The first-flight guide no longer reloads over and over and slows the page down.
The site is better protected against being embedded in other pages and against injected scripts.
Policies
The privacy policy now matches how the game actually works: flight checks void clear-cut violations automatically (and you can appeal), the map loads from our own server, and logs are kept for no more than 14 days.
